Shaneeta appears regularly in the Broadmeadows Magistrates’ Court and other suburban and regional courts across Victoria. Shaneeta is based at our Broadmeadows and Melbourne offices. Shaneeta supports clients navigating the criminal justice system and is committed to clear and respectful communication and advocacy.
Shaneeta approaches her clients and cases with a genuine sense of empathy and professionalism and strives to achieve desired outcomes. Shaneeta appreciates that being charged with a criminal offence is often an overwhelming and distressing experience.
Shaneeta developed a strong understanding of the practical realities faced by clients, particularly those experiencing vulnerability or disadvantage, while undertaking professional placements in the criminal justice sector including at the Geelong Magistrates’ Court and private criminal defence firms, and a substantial period volunteering at the Geelong Community Legal Centre.
Shaneeta holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Criminology from Deakin University, graduating with Distinction. Shaneeta has also completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Leo Cussen Centre for Law.
