Jessica Clothier

Jessica is based at our Sunshine and Melbourne office and regularly appears in Magistrates’ courts across Melbourne.

 

Jessica completed her a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws at Monash University, graduating with Honours in Law. During her degree she worked at a highly regarded immigration firm and the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and was exposed to clients from varying cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. She also completed an Advanced Advocacy course during her diploma.

During her time as a lawyer, Jessica has continued to assist clients from a range of circumstances. She has worked extensively with registered offenders and has achieved excellent outcomes for her clients. She has had several travel applications granted, as well as applications for exemption and suspension of an offender’s reporting obligations.
As well as appearing regularly in the Magistrates’ courts, Jessica has also instructed in a Supreme Court terrorism trial. Jessica believes all those charged with crimes, no matter who they are, deserve access to the best legal resources.
