Jessica is based at our Sunshine office and regularly appears in Sunshine Magistrates’ Court as well as the other Courts across Melbourne.
Jessica was admitted to practice in April 2018. She completed her a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws at Monash University, graduating with Honours in Law in 2017, and completed her Practical Legal Training at Leo Cussen Centre for Law.
Jessica believes in passionate advocacy for those accused of wrongdoing, particularly for those who come from difficult circumstances. She has completed placements at Springvale Monash Legal Service and a highly regarded immigration firm, which allowed her to work with clients from varying cultural and socio-economic backgrounds and to assist them with navigating the complex legal system. Her extensive volunteer experience at the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre also taught her the importance of listening to clients and telling their stories persuasively in order to ensure that they receive the best possible outcome.
Jessica excelled in Criminal law at university and further nurtured this passion during her diploma, during which she participated in an Advanced Advocacy course. She believes those charged with crimes deserve access to the best legal resources and relishes in the opportunity to fearlessly advocate for a client.
