Estelle is based at our Broadmeadows and Melbourne offices and regularly appears on behalf of clients at the Broadmeadows Magistrates’ Court and other suburban and regional courts throughout Victoria.
Estelle is committed to assisting people from all backgrounds navigate the criminal justice system. Estelle understands every client and case is unique, and she is motivated to assist clients to achieve desired outcomes in a dedicated and respectful way.
Estelle was most recently a Judge’s Associate in the County Court of Victoria, in the Criminal Division, where she assisted in the running of complex criminal law matters and specialist lists including Koori Court hearings. Estelle’s time as a Judge’s Associate informed her strong belief in the right to access high quality and committed representation for all people in the community. Estelle understands the importance of empathy, diligence, and effective communication in navigating stressful court proceedings.
Estelle previously held multiple roles at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal in the Migration and Refugee Division, a role that furthered her strong belief in access to justice and compassion for people with challenging life circumstances facing difficult legal situations.
Estelle also worked as a paralegal at a commercial legal firm assisting with reviewing and drafting detailed legal documents.
Estelle completed a Juris Doctor, and a Bachelor of Arts and Diploma of Languages at the University of Melbourne.
