Alex is based in Sunshine, no stranger to the west-side of Melbourne as an alumni of St. Bernard’s College in Essendon. After completing a Bachelor of Laws at La Trobe University and a Graduate Diploma at Leo Cussen, he was admitted to practice in August 2016. Since being admitted he has practised solely in criminal defence law.
Alex knows that not every accusation made against a person is true and vigorously pursues every defence available to ensure that his clients receive the best representation they possibly can. He also ensures that if a person has committed a crime, they are only pleading guilty to the appropriate charges and always ensures that the client’s personal circumstances are thoroughly explained to the court in order to ensure they receive the best possible sentence.
Alex comes to the firm after 16 months at the highly regarded Pica Criminal Lawyers where he gained invaluable experience as a solicitor advocate, appearing in Court daily and also instructing Counsel in County Court Trials. In his time at Pica Criminal Lawyers he continually achieved excellent results for his clients. He always has the client’s best interests at heart and is looking forward to continuing to achieve excellent results for his clients at Doogue and George.
Outside of law, Alex has a keen interest in sports, particularly football and cricket. He is currently the Secretary of his local cricket club.
