The penalty for trafficking a commercial quantity of ecstasy (100 g) is a maximum 25 years imprisonment and a fine of up to $300,000. The maximum penalty for trafficking a large commercial quantity (750 g) is a maximum fine of $500,000 and life imprisonment.
