Was the Accused Committed to Stand Trial?

If the Magistrate struck out all the charges then the answer is “no”.

Being committed to stand trial does not mean that you have to be having a jury trial. You can still plead guilty if you want to do so. It is just legal jargon for being sent to a higher Court than the Magistrates’ Court.

If you were given a date to attend at the County or Supreme Court for the next stage in the proceedings then the answer is “yes”.
