Preparation for your contested hearing (plea of not guilty) may involve the following:
- Getting photographs
- Proofing witnesses and/or taking statements from them
- Preparing a brief for a barrister and having conferences with them
- Ensuring that we are provided with typed transcript of your record of interview
- Preparing you for the type of questions you will be asked and what happens in a Court hearing
- Determining if any further evidence is required from the police
- Advising you of the possible outcomes and what they mean
