Doogue + George provided the legal representation for this case which was heard at the Heidelberg Magistrates’ Court.
During the defence for this case, our client’s good character was highlighted and several character references were provided.
The magistrate ultimately sentenced our client to a fine of $600 but did not impose a conviction. A licence suspension was also made part of the sentence effective for 22 months. This was a reasonable outcome considering that it is very unlikely to get a no conviction result for a second DUI.
