Use False Documents – Diversion

Our client was charged with Using a false document. The particulars of the offence concerned an allegation that our client knowingly misrepresented his qualifications on a resume for the purposes of obtaining employment. The complainant alleged that but for the misrepresented qualification, he would not have received employment and would accordingly not have been paid the several thousands of dollars he was paid in renumeration.

Our client had no prior involvement with the police and had an exceptional work history. A court record (even a finding of guilt) would have had a detrimental impact upon his existing employment.
