Trafficking – Fine, Use Drug of Dependence – Good Behaviour Bond

The client bought 10 bags of speed to distribute to his friends at a nightclub. He was heavily intoxicated and when he was randomly intercepted by police they noticed he had drugs on him.

He made admissions to trafficking and use on the spot and he was charged with:

The client was a young man and had no prior history of offending.

He had a supportive family and was remorseful for his conduct. He had attended a number of drug courses to gain an awareness of the detrimental impact of drug use on the individual and the community, and had discussed his issues with family and colleagues.

The client pleaded guilty early and was entirely cooperative with the police at the time of arrest.
