Drive While Suspended by Infringements

The client was found to be driving disqualified. He had called VicRoads to take the option of keeping his licence without accumulating any other demerit points during a 12 month period, but had done so after a month had passed. VicRoads rejected his option and so he was driving disqualified.

He was charged with Drive while suspended by infringements and Bill Doogue represented him at the Sunshine Magistrates’ Court.

Having provided excellent character references and due to the client’s employment and standing, the client was, without conviction fined $400. The client retained his licence and was not taken off the road for any length of time.
