Drive Disqualified, Drive Unregistered Motor Vehicle, and Exceed Speed Limit

Drive DisqualifiedOur client was suspended for 15 months due to driving with alcohol in his system. During the suspension period, he was pulled over for driving and was eventually charged with various traffic offences.

We represented the client at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on charges of Drive Disqualified, Drive Unregistered Motor Vehicle, and Exceed Speed Limit.

It was important to convey to the Magistrate that our client had, for the most part, observed the suspension. It had been a significant challenge for him as he worked as a tradesman and he had even lost a job as a result of the suspension.

After hearing the details of the client’s personal circumstances, the Magistrate agreed to refrain from imposing a further restriction on the client’s licence and imposed a fine instead.
