Dangerous Driving and Careless Driving – Fine
The Police alleged that our client had performed a protracted burn out up a street which, having regard to the presence of bystanders, was dangerous. She was charged with:

- Careless Driving
- Improper Use of Motor Vehicle

After negotiation with the Prosecution, the charge of Dangerous driving was withdrawn. This charge carries a maximum penalty of 2 years imprisonment or a fine of $24,000 or both, as well as a minimum period of 12 months licence disqualification. Our client was fined and had her licence suspended for 2 months.
