This is a case study on a bail application for drug offences.

What is alleged to have occured?

What happened at court?
The client wanted to apply for bail and we acted on his behalf at the Sunshine Magistrates’ Court. The charges he was accused of were:

We cross-examined the arresting police officer. He was able to establish difficulties in the police case, namely that the client may not have known that GHB was in the car involved.

What was the result?
His Honour granted bail to the client.
