First Offence Firearms Charges
Firearms offences vary from "possessing firearms" to being a "prohibited person in possession of a firearm". Possessing an imitation firearm can be a firearm offence.
The Courts can often be very harsh in penalising firearm offences.
Some issues in firearms cases are;
- Could the firearm / gun be discharged or used?
- What was the reason you were in posession of the firearm at that time?
We work with you to put the offending in a context that makes a Judge understand it and for them to see how the firearms offence came about.
If you have been charged with a firearms offence and need advice or legal representation, please contact us immediately by calling 03 9670 5111 or book an appointment to meet with one of our lawyers.
