Client was charged with 2 instances of possessing an imitation hand gun. He had removed the gun from his pants whilst inside a Subway restaurant. He was also charged with related assault charges. He has an extensive criminal history, including prior for similar type offending.

Results Achieved


Successful negotiations with the prosecutors resulted in all assault charges being withdrawn. He pleaded guilty to 2 charges of possessing a firearm. The Magistrate heard submissions in relation to an acquired brain injury he has, and the supports that were currently in place for him. He was ultimately persuaded to place him on a 12 month good behaviour bond, and to make a $100.00 contribution to the Court fund.
