Prepare the bail application
The preparation for a bail application will involve your lawyer looking for relevant case law. The factual basis is what is in the affidavits so if a Barrister is briefed we would provide them with a copy of all the relevant documents.
Often there is a proposed surety paying money or putting up their equity in their house as a surety. We would need to have discussions with them about what that involves. It is also important that they bring all the necessary documents so that if bail is granted they can provide the necessary documents to the Prothonotary's office.
