Preparation prior to the committal
Preparation prior to the committal
We may need to do the following;
1. Subpoenas - to get documents brought to Court that we think will be helpful to your case
2. Get expert reports to show where the prosecution witnesses are making wrongful assumptions
3. Get statements from other witnesses to question the Informant about.
4. Go and view the alleged scene of the crime
To make use of the committal properly you need to have thought out what the weaknesses in the prosecution case are and how you will show they are worse than they had thought.
